Focus on Materials

Long-term program until 2026

From September 2025 to the end of 2026, numerous exhibitions, city tours, workshops, conferences, festivals, and performances will take place in Dessau and other locations. (bauhaus-dessau.de)

Opening weekend in Berlin:

From June 13 to 15, 2025, the New National Gallery (Mies van der Rohe) will kick off with a pop-up exhibition, workshops, and keynote speeches. (preussischer-kulturbesitz.de)

Festive Bauhaus Festival:

In September 2025, the anniversary will be further celebrated with the traditional festival building and a tourism campaign “Invisible Places” – including tours of historical sites. (sueddeutsche.de)

Active start of our Becom project with the Reference Guide and Green Buildings learning portfolio. For each practical example/case study, we will consider the following key points:

  2. Knowledge policy sector
  3. Knowledge economy/business sector
  4. Knowledge creation sector
  5. Knowledge media/social sector
  6. Knowledge environment sector

In short: The anniversary year 2025 will be dedicated to the 100-year-old Dessau Bauhaus heritage, with an exciting mix of architecture, materials, celebrations, and contemporary reflection in Germany, and our interesting project Becom, we will be there until 2027!
