The agenda comprises a blend of formal presentations, co-design workshops, and practical site visits. It begins with participant registration and partner introductions, followed by a detailed presentation of the green building portfolio. A key focus is the collaborative design of visions and solutions addressing specific problems identified within the local community of Băiuţ. Participants engage in planning activities for forthcoming local workshops and visit relevant sites such as a village museum and community garden to observe sustainable practices in real settings. The inclusion of a study tour to the historical region of Maramureş enriches cultural understanding alongside technical discussions, supporting a holistic approach to sustainability.
On the latter days, the workshop shifts to Primăria Băiuţ, where a broader range of local stakeholders, including officials, community members, and social actors, participate in collaborative sessions to collect information on local needs and frame a draft vision for sustainable development. The event is designed to validate learning portfolios and assign tasks for continued engagement, with certificates awarded at the conclusion. This intensive workshop exemplifies the BeCom project’s commitment to promoting inclusive, regenerative, and environmentally conscious communities through education, civic participation, and international cooperation.
