The first face-to-face Transnational Meeting of the BeCom project (Beautiful Communities-Enriching, Sustainable, Inclusive | 2024-1-DE02-KA220-ADU-000247531) took place on the 13th of December, hosted by the coordinator of the project – FA Magdeburg, together with our colleagues from SBH Nord-East. Partners from 5 countries gathered in Magdeburg to discuss important details regarding the project, and responsibilities and set up managerial tools such as Trello.

After meeting each other and sharing relevant information about each partner and their role in their organisation and in the BeCom project, we started talking about the logistical aspects of the implementation. We collectively agreed upon future tasks, planned the next activities, and set up due dates to ensure the project ran smoothly.

Given that our project uses principles of the New European Bauhaus initiative, our hosts organised a field trip to Dessau, where we were taken on a tour of the Bauhaus Museum, to learn and understand more about the Bauhaus initiative and its history. We spent over 3 hours touring museums, the Masters’ houses and the surroundings, seeing how the Bauhaus school and its teachings are still relevant to this day.

Lastly, we put together the details regarding our next online meetings and set up deadlines to sure make everything is on time, and according to the schedule.

The meeting was deemed successful, as all activities planned in the agenda were achieved. We cannot wait to see each other soon, in Serbia!
